'Cylinder Production AS, established 2000 and based in Oslo, develops and produces mainly documentaries, information films, short films, commercials and various service productions. Since September 2009, Cylinder has three television documentary projects in pre-production, all supported by The Norwegian Film Fund.

Currently (February 2010) we are co-producing the feature film The Essence of Killing in collaboration with Polish Skopia Film, French Iliade and Irish Element Pictures. Lead actor is Vincent Gallo, known from movies like Arizona Dream, The Funeral and Goodfellas. Director and screenwriter Jerzy Skolimovski has won several prestigious awards, including the Golden Bear in Berlin for Le Depart. This co-production is supported by The Norwegian Film Fund and Eurimage.

Apart from producing our own films, Cylinder provides full production services to international companies choosing to shoot in Norway, through our separate department Norwegian Film Service (NFS), specialized in finding locations all over Norway. Cylinder has produced commercials both for national and international employers, several television documentaries (NRK/TV2/BBC), infomercials and short films.'
