Gaute established in 2000 Cylinder Production AS in collaboration with two other partners. During his time with Cylinder, Gaute has directed and produced commercials, short films, infomercials and a documentary for television.

Gaute Lid Larssen has wide experience from radio, television and film. He began his career as a radio producer and host with the Norwegian Broadcasting Coorporation (NRK) and was later connected to NRK´s Television Drama department for almost 10 years. During this period, Gaute worked as press contact for the department, but mostly as casting director on several television and drama productions and in addition to this as 1st assistant director and second unit director on several drama production and two feature films. Gaute is involved in pre-production on several projects in Cylinder.
